13.3 cm height; 307 g weight

T. Schroder (2009), no. 17

This is an example of one of the commonest forms of silver drinking vessel in the third quarter of the seventeenth century. The inserted patch and overchased areas at the lip show that the beaker has at some stage been converted into a spouted jug and subsequently restored as a beaker.

Information derived from T. Schroder, British and Continental Gold and Silver in the Ashmolean (2009)
